Violin

The violin (violin, abbr .: Vl.) Is a string instrument made of various woods (or recently also made of composite materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic). Its four strings (g – d1 – a1 – e2) are bowed with a bow. The violin plays an important role in the tradition of classical European music – many great composers have dedicated significant parts of their work to it. Violins are made by violin makers.
